There are reports from New York to California that people are out in force on Sunday night marching for justice for Trayvon.

Michael Moore posted this photo of Union Square in NYC on his Twitter which was taken around 7:00 p.m. EST.

I think that anyone who thinks that these protestors are going to far or blowing things out of proportion need to step back and think about that for a moment. Let’s for one second imagine that a 17-year old white kid, with no criminal background, was walking home with a bag of skittles and an iced tea and was confronted then shot dead by a full-grown black man who claimed he was in fear for his life. A black man who continued to stalk and follow this white kid even after he was told by 911 operators not to. Does anyone seriously believe that in this scenario this man would have gotten off completely? Never would have happened. And, considering it is Florida, he likely would have gotten the death penalty. Meanwhile George Zimmerman gets to go back home to his family without even a slap on the wrist. Shameful.
