Here’s Steve King talking about how he “proved” to Alan Colmes that we live in a Christian nation with a very bizarre dog killing analogy
If you’ve never heard of Steve King you should Google him because he’s batshit crazy and his comments are so off the wall you’ll wonder how on earth this man could be a member of congress. Besides denying climate science Steve is also scared of Mexicans with “cantaloupe sized calves“.
In a recent interview with the conservative site Newsmax, King said that sure, some kids who would be able to stay in America under the DREAM Act are upstanding citizens brought into the country by their parents — but just not enough to make the law worth it. “Some of them are valedictorians, and their parents brought them in,” King said. “For everyone who’s a valedictorian, there’s another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert.”
There’s no better way to get killer calves than hauling around 75 pounds of weed wherever you go. Feel the burn! King doesn’t think global warming is such a bad thing, the real harm is going to come from Obamacare.
On the environment, King said efforts to fight global warming are both economically harmful and unnecessary.
“It is not proven, it’s not science. It’s more of a religion than a science,” he said.
He said that even if carbon dioxide in the atmosphere causes the earth to warm, environmentalists only look at the bad from that, not the good.
“Everything that might result from a warmer planet is always bad in (environmentalists’) analysis,” he said. “There will be more photosynthesis going on if the Earth gets warmer. … And if sea levels go up 4 or 6 inches, I don’t know if we’d know that.”
I, for one, am sick of these loony religious zealot scientists with their glasses half-empty only talking about the bad things that will come out of global warming. Come on, who doesn’t want more photosynthesis? What is with all these crazy scientists parading all of their “facts” about global warming around. Do we really want polar icecaps competing with the ice we have in our freezers!?
