Good luck hearing about this on any mainstream news site because if in fact it is true, you can believe that CNN aren’t the only ones guilty of it. So far the only places I’ve managed to see her being interviewed about this is Alex Jones and Joe Rogan.

During the interview on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast she goes into detail about witnessing gas attacks by the Bahraini government daily against its people almost a year before the U.S. tried to use the same act as a justification to attack Syria. While we heard about the one Syrian gas attack daily for weeks we never heard anything from any media outlet about the daily gas attacks out of Bahrain.

I distinctly remember that while the Arab Spring was taking place that we were getting coverage out of Egypt and Libya but nothing out of Bahrain. According to Lyon that’s because the Bahraini government paid off CNN to not report on the atrocities taking place.

Lyon says she “saw first-hand that these regime claims were lies, and I couldn’t believe CNN was making me put what I knew to be government lies into my reporting.”

While the Amber Lyon story was from earlier this year these things are still going on in Bahrain it’s just that we are never told about it.

“There is a total blackout in the Western media on what is going on in Bahrain,” Saeed Shehabi, with the Bahrain Freedom Movement, said on Wednesday.

“I believe that there is hidden agenda” with Western media which are totally ignoring the plight of the Bahrainis while concentrating on other places of interest to them,” he added, stressing that such policy “cannot be excused or understood.”

The analyst went on to say that the Bahrainis have been persistent in their daily protests, which is indicative of their determination to get a political change in their country by themselves, without relying on the US and the West to change the situation.

“The only thing they are asking the West to do is not to side, not to support, not to continue giving military and security support to this defunct regime,” he added.

The main reason we never hear anything about the atrocities being committed against the Bahraini people by their government is because it’s likely that the weapons the government is using are weapons sold to them by the United States. Even after the human rights issues were exposed by the U.N. the U.S. continued to sell weapons to the government.

If you haven’t seen this episode of the JRE you should definitely check it out. Besides Bahrain and CNN they discuss and show a lot of disturbing video about police presence and questionable crowd control tactics that are currently taking place in the U.S. In one of the videos the cops show up in full riot gear to a peaceful protest. One of the protesters yells out, “fucking pigs,” and immediately the cops open up with about 40-50 rounds of rubber bullets fired indiscriminately into the crowd of protesters which included women and children. If you don’t believe that we’re living in a police state you really need to check this video out.

  1. Well yes it’s true. Hartman has been talking about this for years, I have been saying it for longer, why do we call it lame stream media. Who owns the “public media”, 4 people own all of it. CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, all the others as well. MSNBC does show and talk about some of the stuff that no one else will but the facts remain that it’s all a sham. Hear about that UFO landing and aliens that talked to W and Cheney………neither did I, but I know it happened, all the things going on in the world, listen to or read Al-Jazeera they paint a much wider picture.
